Full Description

B962 has the Pyrotronics MXL Siemens Panel, which is obsolete as well as any/all field devices for this system. We have removed the office smoke detectors as well as the 4 damaged/unoccupied room detectors and reprogrammed/reinstalled them in the Sailors rooms that are occupied in order to provide coverage in sleeping areas, which leaves the rooms we have removed the detectors from with only sprinkler coverage. There are no more detectors left that we can relocate as all remaining rooms are occupied. At this point, we have no more devices, this was the last final resort to maintain Smoke Coverage. Need to figure out what direction to take moving forward? The temporary plan was to take the used FP-11 smoke detectors from building 1510 after its acceptance test to hold us over in emergencies, but we need an imminent solution.
