Scope of Work: 1. The contractor shall respond within 2 hours of award and commence work. 2. Snow removal services will be provided in accordance with CNIC areas and service priority levels in attachment J-1503060-33 NSA Bethesda Snow Operations Priority Map. 3. The Contractor shall be responsible for notifying the Government of the locations of any vehicles stuck in snow banks for removal. 4. ELIN E1025 Ice / Snow Pre-Treatment (Roads and Sidewalks). Chemical deicing material(s) shall be placed on roadway surfaces to prevent ice/snow from accumulating on roadways and to ensure roadways are safe and passable. Deicing material shall be placed on all paved parking areas (to include the top level of parking garages) to ensure areas are safe and passable. Pre-Treatment shall be completed prior to ice/snow precipitation. 5. ELIN E1026 Ice / Snow Post-Treatment (Roads and Sidewalks). Deicing material(s) shall be placed on roads, parking areas, sidewalks, and building entrances following the cessation of ice/snow precipitation event. 6. ELIN E990 Ice / Snow Removal - Light (1"-4") - CNIC. Snow and Ice removal, Light event, 1"-4" deep. The Contractor shall remove ice/snow from runways, taxiways, parking areas, sidewalks, and roads required for operations, safety, fire protection access, and vehicular and pedestrian traffic. No accumulations over 3" from 0530 to 1900, Monday - Friday. Work shall be completed within 1 calendar day of order.
