This combined synopsis/solicitation HSCG80-15-Q-P45511 for commercial items is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotes incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-60. The NAICS is 336611, with a size standard of 1000. A. REQUIREMENT: 1. Vendor shall provide a barge crane to complete a lift of approximately 3,200.0 lbs to complete a SSDG long block exchange due to the condemned pier in Cape May, NJ making crane service from the pier impossible. 2. CGC DEPENDABLE will require 8 hours of crane service (0800 - 1600) on 3 February 2015 to remove DEPENDABLE'S old generator engine from the fantail to the pier. The crane will then lift the replacement engine from its shipping container on the pier and place it on the fantail of the ship. The ships fantail is approximately 12 vertical feet from the water surface and engine will need to be placed at or near the ships centerline at approximately 18 feet from the deck edge. The contractor is responsible for providing all rigging equipment (chain, slings, tending lines etc.) and to make all connections to lift/lower the engines without damage to them, the vessel, or crew. B. DELIVERY TIME FRAME: 1. CGC DEPENDABLE will require 8 hours of crane service 2. Period of performance for the crane 2/3/2015 (0800 - 1600) C. As stated below, the provision at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items- applies with the following addenda: D.
