BCCC Nonindustrial Timber Management Plan 1-12NTMP-003-SMO (Streambed Alteration Agreement No. EPIMS-SMO-62180-R3)

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number EPIMS-SMO-62180-R3 for the BCCC Nonindustrial Timber Management Plan 1-12NTMP-003-SMO. This agreement, granted to project applicant Thomas Kenney pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code, authorizes the replacement of three culverts and the removal of corresponding downspouts on Class II watercourses. The project is located on an approximately 220-acre property within the Butano Creek Watershed in San Mateo County, specifically within the USGS Big Basin and Franklin Point quadrangle map. The project was formally approved by the CDFW on September 25, 2025, acting as a Responsible Agency, with CAL FIRE serving as the Lead Agency. All work must be performed in accordance with the specifications denoted in the approved 1-12NTMP-003-SMO DEV 7 (Exhibit A). Administrative oversight is managed by Laura O'Shea of the CDFW Bay Delta Region and the CAL FIRE Forest Practice Office in Santa Rosa, with Craig J. Weightman serving as the Environmental Program Manager.
