The State of Utah's Division of Purchasing, in collaboration with the Utah Department of Natural Resources' Division of Wildlife Resources, is seeking to establish a contract for seed collection and plant nursery cultivation related to the North Sheep Rocks Shrub Restoration project. The contract involves collecting localized seeds from designated areas near Vernon, Provo, and Spanish Fork Canyon in Fall 2025, followed by growing approximately 31,000 seedlings of multiple species in a nursery from February to October 2026. The goal is to produce mature plants suitable for replanting at the specified restoration sites during Fall 2026. Bidders are encouraged to inspect the sites independently, as no formal site visit will be held, and the contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible vendor, with pricing guaranteed for the contract duration. The contract period extends from the award date until October 15, 2026, with an estimated value between $200,000 and $500,000.
