MAXIMO: CPY4XN During our WIB for project: BDM B3860 REPLACE BOILERS, the following question was brought up. Requesting design with input provided below. Address changing out the heat/reheat coils in the air handlers. These need to be checked as condensing boilers operate at 140 F and as opposed to 180 F and therefore the existing heating coils might not be able to transfer the proper amount of heat energy (assuming a 10 deg delta T). So, we need an engineer at the ASG to investigate if the existing heating coils can work with the lower supply temperature. Finally, if by chance the original heating coils were oversized, then it might be possible to just increase the flowrate to provide the proper energy transfer at 10 deg F delta T.
