Bensenville Elementary School District 2 is requesting proposals for a new fiber Internet connection to be installed at Blackhawk Middle School in Bensenville, Illinois. The district is seeking pricing for three distinct options: a standard fiber connection, a connection with basic Category 1 eligible firewall coverage, and a connection with advanced bundled firewall coverage. For each option, vendors must provide pricing for speeds of 1-Gbps, 2-Gbps, and 5-Gbps across contract terms of one, two, and three years. Proposals are due by 12:00 noon CST on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. Compliance with USAC and FCC rules is mandatory, and vendors must be in good standing and provide their SPIN number. Bids must clearly separate E-rate eligible and ineligible costs to avoid rejection. Several disqualification factors are in place, including failure to meet the submission deadline, failure to address all RFP requirements, the use of robotic responses, and failure to provide the Lowest Corresponding Price. Technical inquiries should be directed to Tim Keeley, while E-rate specific questions and final proposals must be coordinated through Telesolutions Consultants.
