Bid #2526-38 REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FORCONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING AND INSPECTION SERVICES FOR INDIAN PASS ROAD IMPROVEMENTS   The Gulf County Board of County Commissioners, herein referred to as the "County", is seeking statements of qualifications from Engineering Firms to provide CEI services which are required for contract administration, compliance with EOO, wage rates and labor policies, inspection, and materials sampling and testing for roadway and bridge improvements on Indian Pass Road in Gulf County, FL. The improvements include the replacement of the Indian Pass Bridge (Bridge #510020) including a temporary bypass and approximately 0.36 miles of resurfacing along CR-30B. This project also includes FDOT Standard Specification Division II – QC 105.8.13, Dynamic Testing (effective FY 2024/25), as part of the contract requirements. Contractor (CEI) responsibilities listed in this section are mandatory and enforceable. Engineering firms shall be FDOT Prequalified in the following work types: 10.1: Roadway CEI & 10.4: Minor Bridge & Miscellaneous Structures CEI.   RFQ DEADLINE: October 15, 2026 no later than 10:00 AM Eastern Time at the Gulf County Clerk’s Office, 1000 Cecil G. Costin Sr. Blvd, Room 149, Port St. Joe, Florida 32456, and will be opened and read aloud at a public meeting held in the Donald H. Butler Commission Chamber in the Robert M. Moore Administration Building, Gulf County Courthouse Complex, Port St. Joe, Florida on October 15, 2026 at 1:00 PM Eastern Time.
Requests may be submitted electronically through the County’s online bidding platform at https://www.centralauctionhouse.com/SignIn?redirect=/Category/10885/GulfCounty. Electronic requests must be received by the system prior to the deadline. The time recorded by the system shall be the official time of receipt. Late submissions will not be accepted. Paper-sealed bids may also be submitted to the Clerk’s Office as described above.
Request specifications can be obtained on the County’s website www.gulfcounty-fl.gov or through the Gulf County Clerk’s Office.
Late submittals received after the aforementioned deadline date, either by mail or otherwise, will not be considered and will be returned unopened. The time of receipt will be determined by the time received in the Clerk’s office. It is the sole responsibility of the firm for assuring that the RFQ is received in the Clerk’s office by the designated date and time.
