NOTICE TO RECEIVE SEALED BIDS BID #2526-37   The Gulf County Board of County Commissioners, herein referred to as the “County”, is seeking statement of qualifications from any qualified person, company, or corporation interested in the design, engineering, and construction of:   GULF COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE DISPATCH & TRAINING CENTER   This project includes an approximately 5,600 square-foot, two-story addition to the existing Gulf County Sheriff’s Office facility, with approximately 2,800 square feet on each floor. The addition will provide expanded space for the communications center and a dedicated training room. The project is located at the Gulf County Sheriff’s Office, 418 Cecil G. Costin Sr. Blvd., Port St. Joe, Florida.   Please place your company name, sealed bid, and the bid number on the outside of your envelope and include the original bid plus two copies.    Bids will be received no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Time on October 2, 2026, at the Gulf County Clerk’s Office, 1000 Cecil G. Costin Sr. Blvd, Room 149, Port St. Joe, Florida 32456, and will be opened and read aloud at a meeting of the Board of County Commissioners held in the Donald H. Butler Commission Chamber in the Robert M. Moore Administration Building, Gulf County Courthouse Complex, Port St. Joe, Florida, on October 5, 2026, at 10:00 AM Eastern Time.   Bids may be submitted electronically through the County’s online bidding platform at https://www.centralauctionhouse.com/SignIn?redirect=/Category/10885/GulfCounty. Electronic bids must be received by the system prior to the bid deadline. The time recorded by the system shall be the official time of receipt. Late submissions will not be accepted. Paper-sealed bids may also be submitted to the Clerk’s Office as described above.
Bid specifications can be obtained on the County’s website www.gulfcounty-fl.gov or through the Gulf County Clerk’s Office. All bids shall remain firm for a period of sixty days after the opening. All bidders shall comply with all applicable State and local laws concerning licensing registration and regulation of contractors doing business in the State of Florida. The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, on public entity crimes.
