This solicitation seeks bids for the supply of various bus parts for the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA). Eligible bidders must be original equipment manufacturers, authorized dealers, approved resellers, subcontractors, or agents authorized by the OEM. Bidding companies are required to include the manufacturer's name, warranty terms, best pricing inclusive of all freight and delivery costs, and lead times. The award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder with available inventory, with consideration also given to warranty terms, which could influence the final decision. OCTA reserves the right to split the award among multiple bidders if it serves its overall benefit. Bidders proposing alternate or equivalent parts to those specified must submit a formal approved equal request with full technical data beforehand; OCTA will assess and approve the suitability of such substitutes. The bidder assumes responsibility for both their own warranties and pass-through manufacturer warranties, ensuring compliance or risk return of merchandise at their expense. Vendors awarded contracts must confirm receipt of purchase orders via email within 24 hours and adhere strictly to guaranteed delivery dates.
