Biohazard Cleanup and Remediation Services

The City of Yuma is soliciting bids under RFB-27-119 for a qualified contractor to provide on-call and scheduled biohazard cleanup and remediation services for City-owned properties and public rights-of-way. The scope of work includes the assessment, containment, removal, and disinfection of human waste, blood, bodily fluids, sharps, and contaminated bulk items. The selected contractor must adhere to strict response time requirements, with a 3-hour window for emergency calls and 24 hours for non-emergencies. The contract is based on firm fixed pricing for an initial 12-month term, with a possible six-month extension at the City's option. Award will be granted to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on the total bid price submitted in BidTable BT-45JQ. To be eligible, bidders must possess a City of Yuma business license and provide certifications for bloodborne pathogens training and ADEQ-compliant waste transport and disposal. Required insurance includes Commercial General Liability, Business Automobile Liability, and Workers Compensation, with the City named as an additional insured.
