This procurement is for six Boat Capture Nets, identified by NSN 2090-01-660-2125 and part number 750-WMSL-583-514, sourced exclusively from LIFT-IT MANUFACTURING CO., INC. (CAGE: 0NM47) on a brand-name basis, with no substitutions permitted. Vendors must provide an original letter from the manufacturer confirming their status as an authorized distributor or re-seller; failure to submit this documentation will render the offer non-responsive. Each net must be constructed with 904PME and 901PME polyester webbing and 2-inch nylon double braid rope, featuring a 1-1/4 inch by 139 inch capture line that is spliced to achieve a minimum 35,000-pound vertical breaking strength, with splice testing performed at 20,000 pounds vertical load for 30 seconds, repeated ten times and measured after 24 hours. The assembly includes Cordura eye buffers, a 3/8-inch UV-resistant bungee cord threaded through the eyes to tension the rope to a specified 9-foot-1/2-inch length, with a 2-inch eye formed by looping and seizing the bungee with #554 poly thread over a 3-inch length, covered by heat shrink tubing. A Cordura sleeve is centered on the Amsteel line and four 1/4-inch stainless steel wire rope clamps must be supplied with each unit.
