Brentwood Elementary HVAC Upgrade Ph. 2

School District No. 63 (Saanich) is inviting qualified mechanical contractors to bid on the Brentwood Elementary School HVAC Upgrade – Phase 2 project, aimed at enhancing indoor environmental quality and energy efficiency through comprehensive system improvements. The scope encompasses upgrading the existing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning infrastructure, including the installation of new ventilation equipment, ductwork, hydronic piping, packaged heat pumps, Energy Recovery Ventilators, and duct-mounted reheat coils. The project also requires full integration of the HVAC controls with a Direct Digital Control system, along with thorough testing, balancing, commissioning, and training for school staff. Coordination with electrical and roofing trades is essential to ensure the system operates as a complete, functional unit. The work must achieve Ready-for-Takeover status by August 14, 2026, with total completion no later than August 28, 2026. Electrical drawings will be provided through a future addendum.
