Quote Submission Clarification* For the Guaranteed Delivery Date From Notice of Contract Award, provide only one (1) number of days per quote. The approximate range of days generally expected is 45 to 90. Reminder, multiple quotes may be provided and will be evaluated separately i.e. different systems and/or delivery dates. An additional picture was added of the enclosure next to the tank pad. General Note* Changes in the RFQ from the information below include but not limited to: change of the tank size to 500 gallon (approx.), delivery specifications, and award criteria. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, Springfield, Missouri, intends to make a single award to a responsible entity for the provision of supply and comprehensive lease including installation of Medical Bulk Oxygen and Nitrous Oxide Supply Systems at the U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, 1900 W. Sunshine Street, Springfield, Missouri. The Contractor shall provide, install, and maintain a 750 gallon (approx.) bulk Medical Oxygen tank and Nitrous Oxide 2X2 HP Cylinder (expandable) supply per Statement of Work (SOW). All equipment and materials required to perform this contract shall be provided by the Contractor. The Contractor owned equipment shall be installed, certified, inspected, and maintained by the Contractor without additional cost to the Government. (i.e., all installation, inspection and maintenance costs shall be included in the contract's monthly equipment rental fee for the facility.) The Contractor shall maintain all required licenses and certifications required by Federal and state regulatory agencies to meet all Federal, State, and local certification requirements in supply and delivery of liquid Oxygen and Nitrous Oxide. The area for the equipment (tanks, cylinders manifolds etc) is an 8 ft by 12 ft open top enclosure with expanded metal doors on both ends. The overall height limit for the tank is 10 ft 11 inch. The delivery schedule will be based on an as needed basis. The Contractor shall schedule deliveries for Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. with 2 business days' notice, Federal Holidays excepted. Award will be made to the responsible contractor whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be most advantageous to the Government based on price related factors and technical. Technical will be evaluated based on features of the equipment including layout or any other reasonable basis. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements type contract with firm-fixed unit pricing. The contract shall consist of a Base Period and four 12-month Option Periods for renewal. The estimated quantities for the Base Period and all Option Periods will be included in the solicitation. Two site visit's will be held. The first site visit will be on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at 9 a.m. and the second on Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at 9 a.m. This site visit is not mandatory but highly recommended. The site visit will be outside the perimeter fence and all individuals expected to attend sent to contact@example.gov along with contact information in case of cancellation. All contractors approved to enter the institution for the site visit must: 1) Utilize the Kansas Expressway entrance, 2) Stop at the speaker box located on the left side of the road from the guard tower, 3) Inform the Tower Officer you are attending the site visit, 4) Bring a photo ID, 5) The following are not allowed: Weapons (including pocket knives), cell phones, pagers, radios, cameras, drugs, and alcohol.
