Introduction
Objective/Purpose
Acquisition of Business Insight software (EA Tool) enables EDC to enhance strategic planning, technology governance, and decision-making. The desired outcome is to select a solution that provides robust visualization and data analysis capabilities, supports industry-standard frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, ArchiMate), and integrates effectively with existing systems.
This procurement aims to:
Improve visibility into our technology landscape and business capabilities.
Facilitate collaboration and data collection/correction across architecture, business, and IT teams.
Ensure alignment between enterprise architecture and organizational strategy.
Background
The Business Insight tool will support the documentation of current and future states of business and technology environments, facilitate strategic planning, and improve decision-making across the organization. It is not mission-critical to day-to-day operations, but it is strategically important for planning and governance. The procurement is intended to be completed in October to support early 2026 planning activities.Bidding and Documents are available on http://www.merx.com. Fees may apply; See https://www.merx.com/public/pricing for more information.
