NA National Park Service, Denver Service Center Announces Competition for Design Services This public announcement is being issued as required by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular No. A-76, Dated May 29, 2003. The National Park Service announces the conversion of its initiated Denver Service Center A-76 study for providing pre-design and design services to an A-76 standard competition, cost comparison as defined in the new revised circular. The purpose of the cost comparison is to determine whether the pre-design and design services currently performed by the National Park Service, Denver Service Center will continue to be performed by the Federal Government or by a private source. The A-76 effort includes studying 77 full-time equivalent National Park Service staff positions. The major areas included in the work are architecture, landscape architecture, and engineering functions associated with pre-design, design, and construction support of National Park Service facilities. The National Park Service shall determine the cost for performing the activities using documented research. The National Park Service expects to complete this study by June 27, 2004. As required by the circular, the following additional information is provided: the agency is the National Park Service within the Department of the Interior.
