The Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center is seeking an Architect/Engineering firm capable of providing professional mechanical engineering services to provide all tools, equipment, material, labor, and supervision necessary to provide an in-depth analysis and redesign of the existing campus chiller plant system cooling capacity. The chiller plant feeds Building 1 (the main patient care building) and all outbuildings on the West Tenth Street campus of the Department of Veterans Affairs, located in Indianapolis, Indiana. The mechanical engineering firm shall study and survey the existing one million square foot facility and offer cost effective alternative solutions by reviewing existing cooling capacity data and schematic drawing information for energy efficiency and optimal performance. Products may include studies, conceptual and schematic development, 50%, 75% and 100% design development. All design work shall conform to VA Master Specifications (www.va.gov/facmgt/standards). This procurement is restricted to firms located within a 300 mile radius of the Indianapolis, Indiana VA Medical Center, 46202. The applicable NAICS Code is 541330.
