The purpose of this amendment is to include Sacramento County in the areas of consideration. The USDA Forest Service, Pacific Southwest Region (California) intends to award three to four indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery contracts for Architectural/Engineering Services. This solicitation is open only to small business firms that have an active design production office within any of the following California counties: San Francisco, Marin, Sonoma, Sacramento, Napa, Solano, Contra Costa, and Alameda. Professional services will be in support of design and construction (or renovation) of facilities throughout the Pacific Southwest Region. Each contract will contain a one-year performance period with two one-year options. After award, the selected firms will receive work in the form of task orders for various projects throughout the Pacific Southwest Region. Individual project task orders will contain project specific design requirements along with a negotiated, firm-fixed-priced A/E fee. The potential combined, total maximum work awarded to all firms will be cumulatively less than $700,000 per year in A/E fees for all work, to all firms. Individual A/E fees will range from $2,500 to $250,000 with a majority of these task orders generating less than $50,000 in A/E fees. The minimum guarantee for each contract period will be $2,500, and the maximum ordering limit will not exceed the cumulative $700,000 threshold. There is no solicitation package to request. Interested and qualified A/E firms may respond to this announcement by submitting a standard form 330. In addition to information contained in form 330, consideration will be based on the following equally weighted evaluation factors: 1) professional capabilities; 2) specialized experience and technical competence, as required; 3) capability to accomplish the work in the required time; 4) past performance on contracts with respect to cost control, quality of work, and compliance with performance schedules; 5) demonstrable expertise and experience with design strategies and techniques in meeting the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) green building rating, including commissioning building systems; 6) facility design experience in the $25,000 to $5,000,000 construction cost range. Please provide two complete copies of your form 330 (inclusive of additional information) to: Forest Service, Attn. Don Bandur, 1323 Club Drive, Vallejo, CA. 94592. Clearly reference Number AG-91S8-S-08-0003 on your envelope. Responses are due prior to 3:00 PM (local time) March 27, 2008. The Government will not accept transmission of these items electronically or via FAX. Award of any contract is contingent upon funding approval. End of Synopsis.
