The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) plans to negotiate and award a sole-source delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-03-G-0014 to Lockheed Martin Systems Integration (LMSI) in Owego, NY. This contract focuses on providing engineering support for the Light Airborne Multi-Purpose System (LAMPS) MK III helicopter integration specifically for the DDG 51 Flight IIA class of new build ships. The support will be conducted on-site at Bath, ME, and Pascagoula, MS, and involves technical assistance for the Installation and Checkout (INCO) of the ship electronics element of the LAMPS MK III Weapon Systems as well as engineering work on LAMPS MK III shipboard subsystems at the contractor’s facility. The period of performance is set from January 1, 2004, through December 31, 2004.
