The contract modification pertains to an increase in the estimated total value of contract N62467-01-D-6546, an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Architect-Engineer contract focused on various civil and structural projects within the Tri-Command Area in Beaufort, South Carolina. Initially awarded in August 2001 with an estimated value of $800,000, the adjustment is intended to provide additional funding to support the solicitation of specific projects related to repairs and improvements at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in Parris Island, South Carolina. These projects include repairs to the Hue City Range, improvements to the Hue City Range, and the construction of a head at the 300-yard line of the Chosin Range. This funding increase is essential to maintain continuity of work between the expiration of the current IDIQ contract and the award of a new IDIQ Architect-Engineer contract, which is being procured separately. The contracting activities are managed by the Department of Defense's Naval Facilities Engineering Command (Navfacsyscom Atlantic), located in Norfolk, Virginia. Points of contact for inquiries are JoDeen Cuffe and Contracting Officer Charles A. Daniels. This modification ensures uninterrupted support for vital civil and structural projects that serve the operational needs of Marine Corps facilities in South Carolina.
