--Modification to amend subject title to read: Architect-Engineer Contract Administration Support System (ACASS) Updates

Architect-Engineer (A&E) firms are required to update their Standard Form 254 (SF254) information annually to maintain current status within the Architect-Engineer Contract Administration Support System (ACASS). This system serves as a key database for identifying qualified firms eligible for non-competitive work awards and also functions as a repository for firms' past performance data. The use of ACASS is mandated by the Department of Defense (DOD) for authorized construction agents such as the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), and the National Guard, as well as by the Office of Federal Procurement Policy (OFPP) for utilization by non-Defense federal agencies including Veterans Affairs, the General Services Administration, and the Department of the Interior. Firms must ensure all SF254 submissions are signed before mailing them to the Contractor Appraisal Information Center at the Army Corps of Engineers Portland District. New firms not currently listed in ACASS can apply for an ACASS number by submitting a completed and signed SF254, either original or duplicate, to the same address.
