10/16/2026: Dear Service Providers - A question was raised on whether the City would accept an equivalent product to Cablecast that is not a Cablecast brand. The answer is as follows: -The purpose of this RFP is to replace the end-of-life Cablecast servers currently in production. The City has not identified a business, technical, feature, operational, or supportability deficiency in the current Cablecast platform that would warrant broadcasting platform replacement and migration efforts. A migration to a different broadcasting platform would constitute a separate business initiative requiring its own problem analysis, requirements analysis, feature analysis, cost-benefit evaluation, migration strategy, testing and validation plan, training plan, and procurement process. Therefore, the current procurement is appropriately scoped and focuses on server’s lifecycle replacement of end-of-life servers rather than evaluation of alternative broadcasting platforms. ~ Thank you! ********************************************************************************************* The City of Woodinville is requesting proposals from Service Providers for the Cablecast Server Upgrade Project, RFP# IS 26-0001 PLEASE SEE ATTACHMENTS FOR RFP INFORMATION/DETAILS.
