The State of California, acting through the Board of Trustees of the California State University, hereinafter called Trustees or BOT, on behalf of California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo, hereinafter called University, is in the process of building a new Water Reclamation Facility. The University is currently seeking non-mandatory letters of interest from firms able to provide contract wastewater treatment facility operation services. Non-mandatory letters of interest should be limited to one 8-1/2x11 page and include a link to the firm’s website. The University is seeking firms which have demonstrated wastewater treatment experience; experience with membrane bioreactor technology, recycled water storage, and recycled water distribution; and have proven ability to work with multiple public agencies in a collaborative environment to provide the best possible outcome, meeting regulatory objectives, and within budget. The firms will need to possess multiple Grade 3 Wastewater Treatment Operator Licenses through the State Water Resources Control Board.
