Are you a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned or Other Small Business? Are you a Large Business Looking for Potential Subcontractors? Attend the "Capabilities and Partnering Forum' for Manufacturers and Service Providers" at the DLA Supplier Conference. Want to showcase your capabilities? Are you searching for potential partners or strategic alliances? Do you want to find possible subcontracting opportunities? This session is for you! Join us in this "mixed use" session of briefings and networking. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The DLA Acquisition community is looking for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) Manufacturers and service providers who would like the opportunity to participate in the "'Capabilities, Partnering and Networking Forum for Manufacturers and Service Providers" at the 2011 DLA Industry Conference and Exhibition, June 27-30, 2011 in Columbus, OH. Although all small and other businesses are invited to take part in this session, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses are especially welcome and encouraged to participate. SDVOSB Manufacturers and other entities interested in presenting their capabilities to DLA contracting, requirements, and technical personnel, and in exploring possible partnering or subcontracting opportunities during this breakout session, must first fill out and submit a DLA Manufacturing Capability Statement, located at: http://www.dscc.dla.mil/offices/smbusiness/ (scroll down to bottom of page for link to form and sample of completed form). Your responses to the Capability Survey should be in as much detail as possible; the Survey will be used as the basis for your invitation to present, and to determine which DLA Supply Chain(s)/buying activity(ies) will receive your presentation. If you are not a manufacturer, please complete the statement and annotate in 'other information' company service capabilities. Please submit completed DLA Capability Statement forms to dscc.bcc@dla.mil and type in the subject line "Capability Statement for DLA Industry Conference". The Capabilities and Partnering Forum will take place on Tuesday, June 28, from 2:00 PM - 5:00PM. Presenters will be allotted 20 minutes; 15-17 minutes to speak and 3-5 minutes for Q & A. You will be notified, if selected, of your presentation time in advance and appointed times for companies to present will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. This is an opportunity to showcase your product(s), define your manufacturing capabilities, describe your partnering criteria, network, and learn more about other businesses and their capabilities or needs. SDVOSB and other manufacturers/service providers who wish to brief will be required to register to attend the 2011 DLA Industry Conference and Exhibition at the NDIA web site: http://www.ndia.org/meetings/1780/Pages/default.aspx
