The requirement was to provide basic Career Technical Training and Placement Services in the Following Areas: Rail Passenger, Freight Services, Data Entry, Airline and Highway Services for the Job Corps Program. Job Corps is a national training program that provides comprehensive academic, residential and career technical training services to more than 60,000 disadvantaged youth each year at 125 Job Corps Centers nationwide. The requirement is as follows: Operate transportation-related training programs, covering the following areas: Rail Passenger Clerk, Rail Freight Service Worker, Data Entry Clerk, Machinist (rail), Airline Service Worker, Freight Clerk, Mass Transportation/Highway Service Worker, and Information Processing Specialist, at a minimum of 8 sites nationally serving approximately 400 trainees, in accordance with policy and requirements stipulated by the National Office of Job Corps, U.S. Department of Labor.
