Elkhorn Public Schools is seeking proposals for two (2) firewalls. Elkhorn Public Schools is seeking proposals that include Fortinet firewalls or highly equivalent to. All proposals which are highly equivalent to Fortinet 3001F firewalls will be considered. Additionally, Elkhorn Public Schools is requesting proposals to include 60 months (5 years) of UTP services and premium support. In addition, both options need to include FortiConverter Service. All equipment bid must be new. Below are two separate proposal options. Vendors need to submit proposals for both options in order to be considered a valid bid. Proposals are due in either hardcopy or in electronic form (PDF format) on or before Friday, February 20th, 2026 at 1:00 pm CST at Elkhorn Public Schools, Attn: Kevin Gross, 20650 Glenn Street, Elkhorn, NE 68022 or emailed to erate@epsne.org. E-mailed proposal documents will be time-stamped from the receiving computer. Elkhorn Public Schools is not responsible for electronic proposals delivery, including lost or garbled proposals. SPAM and/or robotic responses will not be considered valid bid responses and will be disqualified from consideration. State/local procurement requirements: Vendors are required to break down the purchases as outlined in the tables in Appendix A. Vendors are required to complete Appendix A as part of their proposal. For your convenience, a template for Microsoft Excel is linked in this proposal. Contracts will be awarded only after receiving a funding commitment and decision letter from SLD or agreed upon by the district. This RFP will automatically become part of any contract awarded to a vendor. In the event the district must purchase additional equipment after initial installation, the vendor will match all pricing in this proposal for a duration of six months after the contract is awarded. In addition, the vendor will refund the district for any equipment returns for a duration of six months after the contract is awarded. Once a contract is awarded, the total dollar amount (minus any returned equipment) is the responsibility of the district.
