The USPFO Contracting Office, Virginia (VA) intends to award a sole-source award to FTIG Community Club, Ft. Indiantown Gap, Annville, PA 17003, and Cage Code 6LZK9. Subsistence is needed in order for Warfighter Exercise (WFX) training to be completed. The contract will be awarded to provide catered meals from the 14-28 July 2018 at Fort Indiantown Gap, PA. Currently the Community Club is acting as the DFAC for Fort Indian Town Gap. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(i). Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplier or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, and FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Regulation 30-22, Food Services Support, dated 12 April 2017 the FTIG Garrison Command has approved FIG Community Club as an authorized vendor for providing catered meals at Fort Indiantown Gap. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this requirement is 311991 with a size standard 500 employees. This notice is not a formal solicitation. This is not considered a Request for Quotation (RFQ). No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No purchase order will be awarded on the basis of quotation or offers received in response to this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear, compelling, and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the purchase order will be awarded without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
