Hillsborough County intends to recommend the modification of a noncompetitive procurement with Ring Power Corporation d/b/a Ring Lift, for continued ongoing and as-needed Caterpillar, Gomaco, Agco, and Diamond Mower parts and labor services at no additional cost. This procurement is being made in accordance with Section 3-208(15) of the County’s Procurement Policy as Ring Power Corporation d/b/a Ring Lift is the only Original Equipment Manufacturer (“OEM”) and authorized vendor in the Hillsborough County area that can provide the required maintenance, services, parts, and warranties for existing county-owned equipment. The services are required to ensure the County’s existing Caterpillar, Gomaco, Agco, and Diamond Mower equipment well maintained and in proper operation when in use. The County reserves the right to extend the time period further, adjust the scope of services in response to changing conditions and updated requirements, and increase the resulting award accordingly. Contractors who believe that they can provide goods and/or services that are substantially and materially the same as those identified in the attached agreement must submit clear and convincing information to support a challenge the intended award. Challenges to this notice must be received no later than the Close Date of the Sole Source (SS) Project. After this date, an award will be made.
