Full Description
The 48th Contracting Squadron at RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom, seeks feedback/sources of companies capable of providing a CBRN M4A1 JCAD Simulator or equal for purchase in accordance with the 'Background' description below.
Background:
The product is a simulation of the M4A1 JCAD or equal which is chemical detector used by the Air force.
The M4A1 JCAD-SIM or equal has to be a high-fidelity simulator enabling safe, effective, and environmentally friendly training for chemical warfare and hazardous material scenarios.
Mimics the actual detector, supporting a seamless transition from training to real-world response. Must be easily identifiable as SIM and not real world equipment. Simulator needs to look like the real workd JCAD and function in a way that provides valuable training.
Detects and simulates a wide array of agents, including nerve, blister, and blood agents, toxic industrial chemicals (TICs) and false positives.
Simulate varied conditions like wind direction, temperature shifts, and night vision.
Would like to have a dedicated remote so that instructors can easily set decontamination effectiveness, persistency, and contamination levels.
M4 A1 JCAD -SIM or equal should be able to simulate, CWAs, TICs and False Positives, contamination, decontamination and persistency, effects of wind direction and temperature, Depletion of sieve packs and batteries, Missing sieve pack, Confidence testing.
The M4 A1 JCAD-SIM simulator or equal should be able to respond to electronic sources that simulate chemical vapors, toxic industrial substances or false positives. Training should be able to be deployed anywhere, including inside public buildings. Most scenarios should be able to be set up quickly and able to control the sources and scenario.

Earlier submission is highly encouraged.
This RFI notice is issued for planning purposed only. Responses to this notice shall assist the Government in Market Research and identifying potential sources. This notice does NOT serve as a formal request for proposal or request for quote. No pricing information is being requested at this time.
Funding is not, and may not, be made availabale to solicit this requirement. This RFI is not intended to serve as an official notice to obligate the Government to award a contract and consequently the Government does not intend to pay for any bid/proposal preparation costs.

The following is requested from interested companies:
1. Please indicate if your company is willing and capable of providing the following CBRN M4A1 JCAD Simulator or equal in accordance with the description provided. If there are any conditions that prevent your company from providing a quote, should a formal solicitation be issued, please provide further details to assist in Market Research.
2. Please provide descriptive literature commonly provided to the general public, if possible.
3. Identify your forms information (name, address, phone number, CAGE Code, Unique Entity Identifier (UEI).
4. Identify the appropriate number of calendar days required to respond to an Request for Quote (RFQ).
