Full Description

The City of Ormond Beach, in compliance and in accordance with the provisions of Section 287.057, Procurement of Contractual Services, Florida Statutes, is seeking proposals from companies who are qualified to design and install all fitness equipment components for this project. There will be a pre-submittal meeting on June 22, 2021 at 3:00 PM at the City Hall Training Room, 22 South Beach Street, Ormond Beach. This meeting is not mandatory. The deadline to submit questions is July 1, 2021 at 5:00pm. This is a federally assisted project and is subject to Federal Labor Standards which include, the Davis-Bacon Act (payment of prevailing wage rates) and the Copeland Act (anti-kickback of wages & submission of weekly certified payroll reports), as well as other provisions including 24 CFR 85.36 (bonding requirements), and Section 3 & M/WBE. Laborers and mechanics employed by primary contractors and sub-contractors performing construction work on this project shall be paid wages at rates not less than the prevailing rates as determined by the Secretary of Labor in accordance with the Davis-Bacon Act. The prime contractor is responsible for the enforcement of wage compliance and support documentation for the duration of the project and may be held liable for wage restitution. The applicable information regarding the laws and regulations stated above are included in the bid packet. One (1) signed original of the complete proposal packet along with one (1) fully complete electronic file in pdf format on either a CD or thumb drive. Both versions must be submitted in a single sealed envelope to the Purchasing Coordinator City Hall Room 101, 22 South Beach Street, Ormond Beach, FL 32174, no later than July 8, 2021 at 3:00 PM. THE CITY RESERVES THE RIGHT to reject any or all proposals or parts thereof, or to accept the proposal or parts thereof when considered in the best interest of the City. Any proposal received after the time and date specified will not be considered.
