Full Description

SAIC is to provide procurement, installation and testing of a Category II (Cat II) Instrument Landing System (ILS) at Ali AB Iraq and Al Udeid AB Qatar in order to establish a reliable instrument approach and landing capability. Due to delays experienced by SAIC, the government is issuing an extension through Jan 2011. Since SAIC is currently installing these systems and have trained personnel already in place to start work and no time will be wasted on gathering personnel and developing installation processes and procedures. They are the only source that can do the work without unacceptable delays.
