This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Contracting Squadron, 88 CONS/PKAA, will make the following acquisition: The solicitation issue date is 30 June 2009 and will close 2 July 08 at 12:00 PM EST. This RFQ is being conducted as a commercial item procurement using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 13). No paper copies of this solicitation will be provided. Quotes must report the manufacturer, description, quantity of each item, installation required for this contract and, individual item pricing. Pricing should be FOB Destination. Pursuant to the Brand Name or Equal clause (FAR 52.211-6); the offeror must provide descriptive literature of item being offered. Equal will be evaluated based on proposed furniture equivalent to manufacturers size, strength, weight, sturdiness, and height adjustable configuration, at a minimum. If descriptive literature and fabric samples are not provided, the offeror will be determined to be nonresponsive. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) prior to award for solicitations issued after 31 May 98.
