THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is conducting market research to facilitate a determination of acquisition strategy. The determination of acquisition strategy for this acquisition lies solely with the government and will be based on this market research and information available to the government from other sources. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Alaska District, is conducting this market research to identify businesses which have the capability to perform the following work. Any resulting contract will be a Firm-Fixed priced Purchase Order. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, transportation, materials, and supervision thereof to include safety and quality control duties, for performing bailing and hauling operations of trees and other debris which accumulates on the trash racks of the Moose Creek Dam following high water and flood events on the Chena River. Moose Creek Dam is located in the vicinity of North Pole, Alaska, approximately 18 Miles from Fairbanks. The period of performance is between May 1 thru April 30 for the base year (2016), and each option year if awarded. The contract consists of a base year and 2 option years. The magnitude of this project is under $150,000. Interested firms should submit the following information regarding their company: 1.
