The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Seattle District plans to award a sole-source, firm-fixed price contract to King County Environmental Laboratory (KCEL) for cyanotoxin analytical services. KCEL currently meets all user requirements for testing harmful algae blooms (HAB), cyanotoxins, and conducting Solid Phase Adsorption Toxin Tracking (SPATT) analysis on environmental samples collected from Rufus Woods Lake and the Columbia River near Chief Joseph Dam in Washington. The procurement, conducted under FAR Part 12 and Part 13 rules, is not open to competitive quotes, though the government may consider information from other firms for potential future acquisitions. The contract falls under NAICS code 541380 and will be managed from Seattle, WA. Interested parties can submit information supporting their capabilities to the designated Contract Specialist, Tyler Luke, but the government will not compensate for any submissions.
