CHP Donner Pass (CVEF) - Snow Removal Equipment Rental Services - IFB # 26C223002

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is seeking qualified bidders to provide snow removal equipment rental services at its Donner Pass Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility, located at 12800 Interstate 80 in Truckee, California, under Invitation for Bids No. 26C223002. The contract spans a thirty-six-month term, commencing on December 1, 2026, or upon approval, and is intended to support operations during the snowy season from October through May. Bidders must supply rental equipment equivalent to CAT 938, CAT 924, or CAT 950 front end loaders, equipped with bucket attachments and a 2.7-meter (9-foot) CAT snowplow or similar, along with snow chains installed on all four tires at delivery. Additional requirements include fueling services within forty-eight hours of request, on-site maintenance response within six hours, and the transfer of remaining fuel from a portable 200-gallon tank to the facility’s 5,000-gallon diesel tank upon equipment pickup.
