The purpose of this amendment is to announce a now scheduled site visit.
A site visit for any interested party is scheduled for Tuesday, May 12, 2026 starting at 10 AM Mountain Standard Time. Meet initially at Casa Loma Recreation Residences (option item 1) 91 Casa Loma Rd. Cedar Crest, NM 87008. After viewing the items at this site, convoy to the Sandia Crest Recreation Site to view the base contract item to demolish and remove the Sandia Crest House. There is an active timber thinning project on the Sandia Crest so a convoy will be necessary to reduce the amount of times the closure gate needs to be opened to let vehicles up the mountain.
Due to the distant location of option item 2, it will not be part of the site visit.
This is the only scheduled site visit at this time and must be attended if you want to access the main site prior to submitting a quote. This is due to current access restrictions to the Sandia Crest House site. Please notify us via email if you plan attending. The site visit is expected to last several hours from 10 AM to around 3 PM.
