City of Conroe Professional Services

The City of Conroe Engineering Department is issuing Request for Qualifications RFQ 2026-32 to establish a pool of qualified professional firms for as-needed services. The scope of work is divided into several specialized categories, including General Civil and Municipal Utilities, Mechanical, Structural, Landscape, Architectural, Building, Surveying, Sub-Surface Utility, and Geotechnical, Material Testing, and Environmental services. Selected firms will provide deliverables such as feasibility studies, master plans, technical specifications, and construction-phase engineering services, including project closeout and inspections. Qualified firms must demonstrate in-house expertise rather than relying on subcontractors. Contractual requirements include comprehensive insurance coverage with a minimum of 1,000,000 dollars for general and automobile liability, as well as performance and payment bonds for contracts exceeding specific thresholds. Payment is typically scheduled within 30 days of acceptance and invoice receipt.
