Project Scope: The City of Havelock is requesting pricing for Bulk Solar Salt, (Water Plant Grade not road application type), delivered in approximately 25 ton loads via pneumatic truck to our water plant in Havelock, NC. The price of this salt shall be fixed and firm, expressed per ton including all freight & delivery charges. Supplied price shall be valid for 30 days for award purposes and upon award shall remain in effect until June 30, 2027. Estimated usage will be 2-3 truckloads (50-75 tons) per month or 600-900 tons for the contract period, depending on water system demand. Time between Requisition by the City and actual Delivery is critical for scheduling purposes and we require that you state that. Water Treatment plant hours are from 6:00am to 2:30pm (Monday through Friday) for delivery purposes.
