Cleaning Services in an institution This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada Regional Treatment Centers at Bath and Millhaven Institutions in the Ontario region. Trade agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), World Trade Organisation-Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), Canada Ukraine Free-Trade Agreement (CUFTA), Canada Korea Trade Agreement (CKTA), Canada free trade agreements with Chile/Colombia/Honduras/Panama, Canada-Peru Free Trade Agreement, Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) and Canada-United Kingdom Trade Continuity Agreement (Canada-UK TCA), Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP). Policy on Reciprocal Procurement: This solicitation is open only to Canadian suppliers and to Suppliers of an applicable trading partner. Competitive Procurement Strategy: lowest priced compliant bid. Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business: This procurement is open to both Indigenous and non-Indigenous businesses. All interested suppliers may participate. However, suppliers are to note that this requirement is subject to a preference for Indigenous suppliers and will be set-aside under the federal government Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business (PSIB) if Canada receives two or more responsive bids from Indigenous businesses who meet the requirements of the PSIB. Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement. Security Requirements: This contract includes security requirements. Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement. The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to provide health care to offenders. It must ensure that the premises in which health care is provided are sanitary and hygienic for the safety of patients, staff, partners and the public. Objectives: To provide housekeeping to the health care centres of the institutions listed above to ensure compliance with CSC Health Services’ mandate of delivering quality and safe health care to offenders in accordance with Accreditation Canada's required organizational practices and Health Canada standards. Given that health care within a correctional environment is provided within a closed setting, CSC must apply exemplary hygiene and sanitation practices. Deliverables: The Contractor must provide the labour to perform housekeeping services for the CSC care centres 7-day per week (Monday to Sunday). CSC will provide all cleaning supplies, products and equipment. Any conditions for participation of suppliers not specified in solicitation documentation: none.
