The government seeks a contractor to provide qualified officials and scorekeepers for basketball, flag football, volleyball, softball, and soccer. The resulting contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price award, structured with a base year and four option periods. The award will be based on the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) process. Technical evaluations are conducted on a pass/fail basis, focusing on personnel qualifications, specific certifications from bodies such as NCAA, FIFA, and USAV, and a comprehensive management and staffing plan. Once technical acceptability is confirmed, the contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror with the lowest Total Evaluated Price. Quotes must be submitted via email by October 20, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. CST. Solicitation # FA466126R0008
Solicitation FA466126R0008 is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside invitation for bid for the fabrication and erection of new blast deflector fences for B1-B bombers at the South Apron of Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. The project has an estimated magnitude between 1 million and 5 million dollars. The required deflectors must be curved, non-perforated, galvanized, and corrugated, with the Lynnco Type GS-20-2 serving as the technical standard. These structures must be capable of withstanding 30,000 lbs of thrust from a B1-B engine nozzle at a minimum distance of 90 feet, enduring temperatures of approximately 1400 degrees Fahrenheit and velocities of 900 MPH. All work must comply with the International Building Code, National Fire Codes, Unified Facilities Criteria, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The contract is divided into a base bid for five deflectors with a 60-calendar day performance period and an option for two additional deflectors with a 14-calendar day performance period. Award will be based on the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) methodology, evaluating technical narratives for feasibility and the ability to recover from schedule slippages exceeding 5 percent. Contractors are required to provide performance and payment bonds, adhere to Davis-Bacon Act wage determinations, and follow strict airfield safety and security protocols, including the use of designated haul routes and escorts for restricted area access. Invoicing and payment will be processed electronically through the Wide Area WorkFlow system.
