CNC Machines - Standing Agreement

The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board has issued Request for Standing Agreement 27-012 to secure a vendor for the supply and delivery of CNC machines on an as and when needed basis. The scope includes three specific equipment options: desktop machines with a 12 by 12 inch cutting area, classroom or small shop machines with a 24 by 12 inch area, and larger woodworking shop units with 4-axis capability. All provided equipment must be CSA-compliant and include all-inclusive pricing covering delivery, installation, set-up, training, and after-sales support. The contract term is scheduled to begin on November 1, 2026, with delivery required within thirty days of payment. The selection process follows a four-stage evaluation consisting of mandatory submission requirements, technical and non-price rated criteria, pricing, and final ranking. The award will be granted to the compliant bidder with the highest evaluation ranking, with the lowest price serving as the tie-breaker. Suppliers must adhere to strict safety and accessibility standards, including compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act and the provision of a valid WSIB clearance certificate. All submissions must be filed electronically via the ocdsb.bidsandtenders.ca portal by the October 13, 2026, deadline.
