General Contractors for Construction of Half Moon Bay Secondary School

The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board has issued Request for Supplier Qualifications number 27-006 to prequalify general contractors for the construction of a new high school in the Half Moon Bay community of Ottawa. The project involves the development of a three-storey facility of approximately 165,330 square feet, which will include a quadruple gymnasium. The procurement process is designed to shortlist up to eight ranked respondents who achieve a minimum score of 80 percent to participate in a second-stage invitational competitive process. The subsequent tender for the project is expected to be issued as a CCDC2 tender in Spring or Summer 2027, with a targeted construction completion date of August 1, 2029. To be eligible, respondents must submit their qualifications electronically via the designated bidding system by September 29, 2026.
