Coastline Major Grading Permit; ASB-GRAD2023-00002 ED24-139

The Coastline Major Grading Permit (ASB-GRAD2023-00002 ED24-139) is an administrative land-use approval issued by the San Luis Obispo County Department of Planning and Building for Coastline Vineyards LLC. The project involves major grading of 2,000 cubic yards of cut and fill to support the development of vineyards, a walkway addition, and overflow parking areas. This work will disturb approximately 8 acres of a 35-acre parcel located at 3775 Adelaida Road within the Adelaida Sub-area of the Inland Planning Area. The project is certified as exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act under the general rule exemption, as it is determined that the work will not significantly impact the environment, cultural resources, or sensitive species. Compliance is required with County Code Section 22.94.030 for sub-area standards and Section 22.10.040 regarding archaeological resources. Specifically, if archaeological materials or human remains are discovered during construction, activities must cease immediately, and the Department and County Coroner must be notified to allow for professional recording.
