Coliseum Landscape Project -Phase II (SBE)

The City of Greensboro is soliciting bids for the Coliseum Landscape Project Phase II, a one-time landscape renovation at the First Horizon Complex. This solicitation is exclusively open to Small Business Enterprises certified with the City of Greensboro’s SBE Program, specifically benefiting eligible businesses located within Guilford, Randolph, and Rockingham counties. The project involves the sourcing, handling, and planting of various large caliper trees, including Bald Cypress, Crepe Myrtle, Green Giant and Emerald Green Arborvitae, Nuttal Oak, and Sweet Bay Magnolia. The performance period is scheduled from November 16, 2026, to December 31, 2026. Qualified contractors must hold an N.C. Landscape Contractor License and adhere to strict technical specifications regarding soil preparation, root flare placement, and pruning. Bids will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible contractor. Required submission materials include a completed Contractor Questionnaire, a list of appropriate equipment, and at least three professional references. All bids must be submitted via the Greensboro eProcurement System by November 6, 2026. Awarded contractors are required to provide a Certificate of Insurance with endorsements within three days of the intent to award.
