College Website Redesign

Alvin Community College (ACC), a public institution established in 1948 in Brazoria County, Texas, is seeking proposals for the redesign of its website, www.alvincollege.edu, as part of its initiative to enhance its online presence and improve service to stakeholders. The project emphasizes creating a custom-built website within the existing Modern Campus CMS framework, rejecting out-of-the-box solutions like WordPress to better reflect and promote ACC's brand. The redesigned site is intended to act as a recruitment tool to boost enrollment and improve resource access for both prospective and current students. It must comply with ADA standards, ensuring usability, accessibility, and mobile optimization, and feature an intuitive information architecture for seamless navigation. Additionally, the website will include engaging content that showcases ACC’s programs, values, and community involvement and incorporate features for lead generation through personalized content and calls to action. The contract is set to commence upon approval by the ACC Board around June 2025, with an initial one-year term and the possibility of up to four additional one-year renewals subject to mutual agreement. The services will be primarily delivered at Alvin Community College's primary location in Alvin, Texas. ACC is inviting potential contractors to submit proposals for this website redesign project by the due date of February 20, 2025. Interested parties can reach out to Alan Phillips at the provided contact details for further information. The estimated contract valuation ranges from $100,000 to $500,000.
