Atomically Precise Molecules (APM)
Solicitation # DARPA-PS-26-141
The Atomically Precise Molecules (APM) program, solicitation DARPA-PS-26-141, is a 36-month initiative by the DARPA Multi X Office seeking innovative synthesis techniques for programmable precision polymers (PPPs) and nonlinear optical (NLO) materials. The program aims to develop scalable materials with strictly controlled monomer sequences and compositions, culminating in a prototype NLO material integrated into a government-provided electro-optic modulator capable of achieving greater than 1THz modulation. The effort is structured in two phases, with Phase I lasting 12 months and focusing on synthesis capabilities. Research limited to inorganic materials or incremental improvements to existing state-of-the-art practices is specifically excluded. Awards will be issued as Other Transaction for Prototype Agreements, with payments processed through the Wide Area Workflow system based on a schedule of milestones. Proposals are due by December 18, 2026, via the Broad Agency Announcement Tool and must include technical, management, and pricing volumes. Eligibility is restricted to U.S. organizations, and all performers must comply with CMMC Level 2 self-certification and NIST SP 800-171 standards for safeguarding Controlled Unclassified Information. Evaluation will be based on technical approach, relevance to the DARPA mission, budget realism, and the capability to transition the technology to military or commercial sectors.

Solicitation # FA2518-25-S-C001
The United States Space Force, through the Space Acquisition and Integration Office, is executing a Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) under solicitation FA2518-25-S-C001 to acquire innovative commercial technologies, products, and services that enhance Space Domain Awareness (SDA). The program focuses on improving the ability to detect, characterize, attribute, predict, and target activities in the space domain. This long-term mechanism remains open for five years and utilizes a multi-phase submission process consisting of an initial white paper and PowerPoint briefing, an optional pitch session, and a final full proposal package. Awards are made as FAR-based fixed-price contracts, and the government reserves the right to award some, all, or none of the proposed solutions. A primary focus of the current effort is Area of Interest (AOI) 2025_01, titled Advanced SDA Tools for Research and Analytics (ASTRA), which is a 100 percent small business set-aside. This specific AOI emphasizes research, development, and prototyping for scalable data management, modeling, and agile software prototyping, with an estimated combined funding pool of 1.5 million dollars across related AOIs and a period of performance not exceeding 12 months. Phase I submissions must be unclassified, though subsequent phases may require higher classification levels. Offerors must comply with NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC 2.0 requirements, particularly if handling Controlled Unclassified Information.
