COMPUTER EQUIPMENT

The US Embassy San Salvador, through the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, is soliciting quotations for the procurement of computer and technical equipment to modernize the National Academy of Public Security at the San Luis Talpa campus. This acquisition, valued at approximately 28,000 dollars, aims to close technology gaps in portable computing, secure storage, memory capacity, and document digitization. Key deliverables include sixteen business laptop computers and specialized scanning equipment featuring 600 dpi optical resolution with dual CIS sensors and RGB LED technology. All equipment must be new and original, provided with manufacturer documentation, valid licenses, and warranties applicable in El Salvador. The contract will be awarded to the lowest priced, acceptable, and responsible quoter who demonstrates the necessary organization, experience, and ability to comply with the performance period. Successful offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management and comply with FAR regulations, including prohibitions on certain foreign telecommunications and video surveillance equipment. The selected vendor is responsible for transportation, packing, and delivery on an FOB Destination basis to the San Luis Talpa campus within sixty calendar days of award. Quotations must be submitted electronically in English by September 11, 2026.
