Full Description
Contract Documents for the work are on file and can be obtained electronically on PennBid for no cost. A fee for the documents, postage and handling will be charged to bidders wishing to receive a hard copy which can be ordered via the PennBid portal.
Bids for this Contract shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid. All Bids shall be effective for sixty (60) calendar days.
The Work generally consists of furnishing all equipment, labor and materials for, but not necessarily limited to, the following: site grading, construction of a 40’ x 32’salt shed. The work location is more specifically identified in the project manual/bid documents and project exhibits.
The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond, and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. The project documents contain provisions regarding the applicability of PA Prevailing Wages.
Mahanoy Township reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or portions thereof, and to accept any Bid, or portion of Bid, which in its judgment is in the best interest of the Township.
