The work includes, but is not limited to, painting the interior and exterior of the existing welded steel ground water storage tank called Furnace Tank. The tank is 68-feet in diameter and 56-feet in height. The work also includes foundation joint and crack repair, and incidental weld repairs. A third-party paint inspector has been retained for the painting system, and work is required to be coordinated with the awarded contractor of Contract 26-1 Furnace Creek Tank Metals.
