La Ville de Saint-Lambert (la Ville) procède à un appel d’offres afin de conclure un contrat de renouvellement pour l’ensemble de ses licences logicielles, de ses abonnements ainsi que de ses services de support arrivant à échéance pour le volet Broadcom/VMware, de son infrastructure Dell hyperconvergée VXRail, acquis en 2023. Cette infrastructure critique à la Ville, dont le cycle de vie de cinq (5) à sept (7) ans n’est pas terminé, ne fonctionnent uniquement que sous l’hyperviseur VMware. Cet environnement permet la mise à disposition de postes virtuels pour environ cent-cinquante (150) employés et assure l’hébergement des serveurs de nombreuses applications métier critiques, essentielles au bon déroulement des opérations municipales quotidiennes.
